Glentana is the beginning of the long sandy shore that runs almost continually to Mosselbay. Even though its only 20 minutes out of George it is a very calm beach. In August 2006 a great flood came down the valleys and washed Restaurant/Cafe, parking and the road away. Glentana has got amazing viewpoints and a lot of natural floara. Other attractions is a 106 year old shipwreck 2km east of the main beach.
