The Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway crosses Arbutus Canyon on this trestle.
The trestle is 141 meters (462') long and 67 meters (220') high.
It is used twice daily by VIA Rail Canada's Malahat passenger train. The Malahat runs northward from Victoria to Courtenay in the morning, and returns southbound in the afternoon.
