Atascadero Lake Park has a total of 25 acres. There is a walking path that follows the edget of the lake for a stroll, jog or bike ride lakeside. The park also has a playground, restroom facilities, large and small barbecue areas, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court and the Charles Paddock Zoo. BBQ Area 1 - Large BBQ pit with picnic tables located nearest the Morro Road parking lot. Electricity and lights available upon request.

BBQ Area 2 - Large BBQ pit with picnic tables located between BBQ Area 1 and the playground. Electricity and lights available upon request.

BBQ Area 3 - A medium-sized group area with a large BBQ pit and picnic tables located near the volleyball court
