Crossrail's central tunnel will rise to the surface here before entering Stratford Regional's high level platforms and joining the Great Eastern Main Line. As a result of the construction, Pudding Mill Lane DLR station will be demolished and rebuilt further south. It will give it a chance to be rebuilt bigger (during the Olympics it will be closed as it would be unable to cope with the traffic) and with two full tracks between Bow Church and Stratford (the stretch is the only considerably length of single-track left on the DLR network.
