Collective house (in Czech Kolektivni Dum - in short Koldum), is an important testimony of modern architecture development of the past the World War II engineering of world importance. It represented at the time the new style of housing and comprehensive amenities. Own flats were used for individual family rest, other activities (eating, supporting their children, sports)were premised to should be held collectively in the central part of the house. The building, which was built by the project of architects E. Linhart and V. Hilsky from 1947 to 1958, is registered in the Central register of cultural monuments of the Czech republic and it is also in the centre of interest of UNESCO.
