Home to historic fish “shacks”. Many were completely destroyed during hurricane Charley. Some were rebuilt, including "Manny's Fish Camp". “Manny's” is located at the extreme northern tip of the rocks. All are privately owned.
These fish camps are part of only a handful of camps that remain as fisherman set fire to most camps after the gill net ban in 1995.
