Logitsi, settlement (alt. 780 m) of Fthiotida, 31km NE of Lamia. Doiikitika belongs to the Municipality Stylidas and has 150 inhabitants (2001). Here one encounters the beautiful stone bridge and the Church of the Transfiguration on the particular architecture. The Logitsi, a small village on the mountain, offered enough in the liberation struggle against the German and Italian occupation, and because of its location but mainly because it had two active fighters, the Vasilio Con. Christodoulou and the Vasilio Doudoumis. These two fighters, especially Basil Christodoulou was the support not only of the village but the instructor and other organizations of the neighboring villages. Feast Longitsi on August 6!
