Cardana di Besozzo

Cardana is a "frazione" or a sub-district of the district (Comune) of Besozzo. It has a nice micro-climate, being sheltered by the ridge to its north, and offers a great location to live due to views to the south west over the lake, mountains etc. However, it boasts only one bar/restaurant and a hairdresser - so even for simple things like bread and milk you must go to Besozzo... despite having several hundred residents.
