Protestant Church Scheemda (Eexterkerk). Built in 1871 as a Reformed Church. Demolished in 2009 and replaced by a multifunctional chruch center for the nearby Protestant church building. The church building itself was not on the Monument list and the church foundation for the conservation of old church buildings (Stichting Oude Groninger Kerken) didn't want it. Only the characteristic facade of the church building remains.
