  Not sure how the blurb-writer here arrived at those conclusions. Academy grads have a solid record of acceptance to the Ivies, "southern Ivies" (Duke, Emory, Vanderbilt), service academies and small liberal-arts schools. The school also has outstanding service programs and surprisingly strong athletics for its size. The public schools aren't terrible, but the growth at the Academy and the local Christian schools (including the relatively new Prince Avenue school) suggest there's something missing.
