  • Birheng Bato is a virgin Mary-like rock inside a cave. I really don't know if "Birheng Bato" really exists because noone can ever testify that they've been there. It is said to be a misterious place where noone attempts to go. Since my elementary days in Bangad Elementary School, its existence has been an old story. There is a story that then an old man saw an endless pile of reptiles seen offering flowers to "Birheng Bato". There is also a known story that this is a sanctuary of monkeys, one of which is white in color that acts as their leader. It is said that it was then a man who was cursed.
