This house, "The Ridge", were where as many as 1,500 Confederate troops were stationed on this property during the Chancellorsville campaign in the spring of 1863. The house were was built in 1850 as a farmhouse and was renovated following William Noble's move-in in 1974. He continued to renovate and expand the house until his death in 2008.
