  • Diablo is the 4th most expensive zip code in America. It used to be a "country" retreat to the wealthy families of san fransisco, and is still filled with turn of the century mansions along with newer ones.
  • a small and pretentious town. the natural enviornment seems to take over with beauty where the inhabitants have horribly failed. the people are ugly, their spoiled and drug-addled, and their fiscal policies follow suit.
  • Jose, I think your description is inaccurate and ignorant. Diablo and the surrounding towns (Blackhawk, Danville, Alamo) are wonderful places. I grew up in Danville, building forts in the large Sycamores, and exploring the creeks winding through the hills beneath Mt. Diablo. Sure, the people who live here have money, but that doesn't automatically stereotype them as "pretentious" and "spoiled". The families I know who live here are some of the most genuine, hard working, and intelligent people I've ever met.
