Completed in 1984, this 40-storey (203.75 metres) building is owned and served as the headquarters of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Malaysia's biggest fund management company. Incorporated on March 17, 1978, PNB was conceived as a pivotal instrument of the Government's New Economic Policy www.epu.gov.my/ to promote share ownership in the corporate sector among the local population, and develop opportunities for suitable professionals to participate in the creation and management of wealth. PNB is the parent company for Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) www.asnb.com.my/ which operates a number of unit trust schemes. The company has foreign offices in Singapore, London, and Tokyo.
