Sekolah Kebangsaan Simpang Rengam literally means Simpang Rengam National School was initially started in 1946 with 5 students and a teacher, currently total number of students stands around 1900 and 70 teachers. The school always refered as SKSR only by the local community. It provides pre-school education for children of the of 6 years old and primary school education for children of the age of 7 to 12 years old (standard 1 to standard 6). It is a co-ed government funded school whose syllabus known as "korikulum baru sekolah rendah" (KBSR)or New Corricolum for Primary School administered by the Malaysia Federal Government. The school operation hours is between 7:25am to 1:15pm from Monday to Friday.
