  • I remember seeing the those pretty, vivacious and charming Russel Girls, who participated in the "Christmas Caroling" that tour places in Negros Occ. from Vicmico. I saw them one christmas in our next door neighbor house in Saravia doing the singing and dancing with the group of carolers a long, long time ago. I was in high school then. Just fond memories lingers on....
  • My Uncle, E. E. Russell was a resident although I am not sure exactly where. He was an American, and Executive at Vicmico both before and after the war.
  • Not sure that anyone is even reading this anymore, but yes, Russell did exist. It was my Uncle who lived here. My Uncle was an executive at Vicmico. He also built and designed the golf course and started the Country Club at Vicmico (he was an avid golfer). He often talked of their home on the river. They never had children, but always had company, so I am sure relatives and friends were often seen at their home.
  • I am amazed to hear that. I was born in the mid 70s and I have not much info about Mr. Russel. Until this time, this place is commonly know as Russel's (or simply Russel). The first time I heard this place as "Russel", I did not even know that that was an American English spelling (I though some kind of a local name, as Racel). Until years ago that my sister told me that an American named Russel really lived here.
