    The mosque has been here since the mid sixties but in 2006 it was decided by the villagers to build a new purpose-built mosque on the same site. The project was managed by Raja Altaf and Haji Fazal Ellahi with the funds being met by villagers resident in the UK. We now have a brand new mosque with facilities that will provide for the village from Koranic lessons to funerals. There is also a graveyard within the grounds.
