Evercane Road (CR 835)

Built in 1954, this link road connects US 27 with CR 833, winding its way through several vegetable farms and sugar cane fields. Mostly traveled upon by large trucks, this road is usually in rough shape and is lined by canals, but few safety guardrails. Named for the Evercane sugar factory, and once named State Road 835, before being decommissioned in the 1970s, and turned over to Hendry County control and maintenance.
