US 59 South / US 77 North
US Highway 59 is a border-to-border highway (almost). It begins at the Canadian border in Lancaster, MN. It heads south through Minnesota and Iowa and far northwestern Missouri. It enters Kansas and Oklahoma and run through Arkansas for a short jaunt. Shortly after entering Texas, in Tenaha, US 59 turns southwest all the way to Laredo. It does not meet the Mexico border, but ends about a mile from it where it intersects I-35/US 83.
US Highway 77 begins at the Mexico border in Brownsville, TX. It continues north through Refugio and Dallas (concurrent with I-35E). It's also concurrent with I-35 in Oklahoma City. US 77 passes through eastern Kansas and Nebraska ending at the Iowa border near Sioux City, IA.
