Texas State Highway 35
In Corpus Christi, State Highway 35 starts concurrent with US 181. In Gregory, SH 35 continues northeast while US 181 turns northwest. SH 35 stays near the Gulf of Mexico by going through Aransas Pass, Rockport, and Port Lavaca. In Palacios, it goes further inland. It goes through Bay City, then crosses SH 288 in Angleton (north of Lake Jackson). In Alvin, SH 35 goes straight north into Houston ending at Interstate 45 just north of I-610 (the south portion).
