One Day after his death the Red Baron was buried here on April 22th 1918 with full Military Honor by Australian Troops. He rested here for three years. Then the remains of German soldiers was concentrated on other cemeteries. The remains of Manfred von Richthofen was transfered to Fricourt and later back to Germany. But on the Cemetery walls at both locations there is a bord with photos of the funeral and of him.
The second photo is of a Painting that was in the Château de Bertangles of the crash of Baron von Richthoven (The Red Baron)
