  • The photos show my favorite piece from this museum, a large amphora decorated with scenes from The Odyssey. This side shows Odysseus blinding Polyphemus, the cyclops and son of Poseidon, an act which saves Odysseus and most of his crew, but earns them the wrath of the sea god.
