Spectrum Center (formerly Time Warner Cable Arena), in the Center City of Charlotte, North Carolina, is the home of the NBA's Charlotte Hornets and AHL's Charlotte Checkers. The WNBA's Charlotte Sting played here from 2006 to 2007. Events hosted in the arena include the 2008 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament and the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

The arena was designed by Ellerbe Becket and constructed from July 2003 to October 2005 at a cost of $260,000,000. Its seating capacity is 19,000 with 51 luxury boxes and 2,300 club seats. The arena's floor area is 780,000 sq ft (72,464 sq m).
