443-foot, 29-story postmodern office building completed in 1983 for Goldman Sachs. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill as the headquarters for Goldman Sachs, it fills a trapezoid plot next to the Fraunces Tavern Historic Block in Downtown Manhattan. Clad entirely in brown stone, with narrow windows, the ground floor is recessed on all four major facades behind large, square columns.

The building has chamfered corners, each four windows wide, and the northern and southern facades curve slightly inward and outward, respectively, following the gentle bend of the streets. The top floor has larger, recessed windows. The main entrance to the building is through a squared archway where a bronze plaque shows a map of Lower Manhattan as it was in c.1660. During the excavations, objects from the Dutch era were found and recovered before the construction work was started. Goldman Sachs moved out in 2010 to a new 43-story tower near the World Trade Center.

It now houses offices for Oppenheimer & Co. Nielsen, and some J.P. Morgan functions.
