Union Drive Community Center (Ames, Iowa)

The Union Drive Community Center features a large cafeteria room with several tables and booths. The dining cafeteria (known by students as the Union Drive Marketplace) is set up with several buffet-style food stations, and staff members constantly manning them. The Union Drive Marketplace features a salad bar, dessert bar, Mexican food bar, greasy American food bar, and Asian food bar which will sometimes serve sushi. The entire building is three stories. The Union Drive Marketplace is on the second floor. Found on the first floor is Clyde's, a fast-food style restaurant that serves fries, burgers, and other foods typical of an American fast-food burger joint. Right by Clyde's is West Side Market, a convenience store. Students living in dormitories nearby this building will also come to the Union Drive Community Center to retrieve their mail at the mail counter (or their assigned mailbox), located north of the West Side Market. There are restrooms on the second and first floor. The third floor serves as additional seating for Union Drive Marketplace diners. The main cafeteria serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
