Urban locality (a work settlement) and the administrative center of Okhotsky District of Khabarovsk Krai, Russia, located at the mouth of the Okhota River on the Sea of Okhotsk. Population: 4,215 (2010 Census). It was named after the Okhota River, whose name is a corrupted Evenk word okat, "river".
