This is the hubli airport,recently being upgraded for night landing facilities,now there is a daily flight to Bengaluru & Mumbai, was operated by Air Deccan & King Fisher AirLinesand after that SpiceJet . Now the runway is recently upgraded to the length of 2400m , allowing landing of Boeing and Airbus aircrafts, Also has a new upgraded terminal opened in late 2017. Recently Air India, IndiGo and Alliance Air operate here

Recent Updates(Nov 2007): Hence King Fisher has Planned to use Hubli Airport as an Hanger(Plane Depot), Development work over the same is taking place speedily. Land acquiring process is already completed. Over 400 house people were moved from this place.

  • NOW there are regular flights from Mumbaio and Banagalore all full , by Deccan Airways and Kingfisher both , there is a major expansion plan on the anvil , all in all hubli shining now a days :-)
  • BAD NEWS - March 2008: After getting a stakes of AirDeccan, Mr.Mallya has hiked the ticket prices. Many Flights were got CANCELED. There is NO MORE Morning Flights from Hubli. Mr.Mallya jaane aage kya hoga?
  • Guys now onwards spicejet flights are flying from hubli to banagalore
