Plandome Manor is a village in the Town of North Hempstead, NY. It was incorporated in 1931, though the area was settled as early as 1640. It consists of four distinct areas. Plandome Park on Manhasset Bay was the earliest settled area, Circle Drive area, known as Plandome Estates when it was being developed in the 1910's-20's, Gulls Cove/Elm Sea Lane/Luquer Road area, and Plandome Mills, the last part of the Leeds estate to be developed in the 1950's by Walter Uhl.
