Serves as the home site for the Kent State men's and women's indoor track and field teams. Also is used as a practice facility by the baseball, field hockey, football, men's and women's golf, soccer and softball teams. During the outdoor season, the Kent State track and field teams compete at the Kent State Outdoor Track. Was constructed in 1990. Houses a full-size artificial turf field, a six-lane running track, and a 5,000-square foot weight-training complex. The Weight Room contains 66 Eagle Cybex machines. Also includes observation towers for filming, combination batting/golfing cages, pole vault and high jump pits, and a long jump pit complete with a sand landing area. A series of nets can be dropped from the ceiling to divide the field into separate areas for practice.
