Maduro's Bank was the first commercial bank to establish in the Netherlands Antilles, opening its doors January 2, 1917 in the capital city of Willemstad, Curaçao. Since 1970, MCB has been associated with The Bank of Nova Scotia in Canada. Now, with 31 branches on Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, St. Maarten and St. Eustatius, it is the largest commercial bank in the Dutch Caribbean.

The head office also houses the Consulate of Canada for the Netherlands Antilles.
