  • History of family: Cast: Kshatriya, 96 kuli Maratha Gotra: Vasishtha Kul: Sonvel Kuldevta: Sateri (Village Kavathi) Gramdevta: Bharteshwar (Masure Village) Sthandevta: Isvati Mahapurush King of Kavathi left the self property for poor peoples and migrate to village masure, gadghera wadi in malvan taluka. They were two brothers. One is working in fort Bharatgad on the post of sardar and second brother is a farmer. The big brother (name not available) had only one daughter. They married her with one of the gentleman in Bagve family (Gavthan, Near Ravalnath Mandir, Masure).This great warrior dies in war to save fort Bharatgad. The dream death of every Kshatriya man. And second brother Tatu Rane was a farmer. He done a family tree, and keep our heredity of hard work, courage, mysticism, bhajan, participation of village’s traditions, alms-giving. Our fifth dutiful & accomplished generation which includes the Sitaram Rane (Appa), Pandurang Rane (Bapu), Balkrishna Rane, Krishna Rane, Suresh Rane (Baban), Mahesh Rane, Shyamsundar Rane, Madhukar Rane, Govind Rane (Baba), Vasant Rane, Kishor Rane, Harihar Rane, Ravi Rane, Sanjay Rane, Pramod Rane & Narayan Rane give us that tradition. Now a days we both fifth & sixth generation sociably keep continuation of our glorious tradition by working in the field of agriculture, police, advertising, engineering, manufacturing, information-technology and also by mysticism, bhajan, participation of village’s traditions, alms-giving to poor, handicapped peoples for country & out of country.
