Braithwaite House was approved in 1963 as the Banner Street project. It is a 55 metre high residential tower block with 18 storeys.
On 8th May 1968, the notorious Kray twins were arrested for the final time at an apartment in Braithwaite House.

    thanks Alberto, always been interested on how this was constructed, I lived on the top floor 17th floor, for nearly 12 years and would often during really hard winds, short of hurricanes, would feel the building move due to tension release never experienced any gas explosions thank god thanks
