Acquired in 1952, the Chambersburg Quarry today is the largest of the Valley Quarries, Inc. operations, producing and supplying over 1 million tons of construction aggregates annually to the local communities. The quarry is located at New Franklin, just southeast of the Boro of Chambersburg and along the rapidly developing I-81 Corridor.

Valley limestones of the Stonehenge and Rockdale Run formations are crushed and graded into a full range of PennDOT and AASHTO certified products ranging from manufactured sands and anti skid up to gabion stone and rip rap. Dry and wet agg-lime and a traditional limestone (dimension) building stone are also available
