Carmel School was started in the year 1968 by the sisters of the Apostolic Carmel. It is a Roman Catholic Christian School establised by the Apostolic Carmel Educational Society and is under the jurisdiction of Roman Catholic Bishop of Port Blair.It was founded by Mother Veronica and considers education as a powerful relevant and effective means for the transformation of society. It provides education to the boys and girls of the islands.

  • i love this school very much. i studied here in 1987-88 i.e. 8th full and 9th till august. later i went to chennai. at that time Sister.Ivy was the principal. Raja sir was our maths sir. my classmates were sabha,kajol,caroline,dolly, jolly, bijoy, chandrasekaran(my opponent house in junglighat).
