Faridpur Engineering College (FEC) (Bengali: ফরিদপুর ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ) is a public undergraduate (B.Sc. Engineering) college in Faridpur, Bangladesh, established in 2010. It is located in Faridpur town, headquarters of Faridpur District. It is affiliated with University of Dhaka under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology as a constituent college.At 2005, Education Engineering Department, Bangladesh government financing and the implementation of the 53-million cost of Faridpur on 7.5 acres in downtown Baitul Aman Faridpur Engineering College Construction work began and finished at 2010, but electricity and water connections to the educational complex, The next three years due to the engineering colleges could not start.It is the latest addition to Bangladesh's government engineering institutions which previously were only BUET, CUET, KUET and RUET. In the future it will become Faridpur University of Engineering and Technology {{FUET}}. Faridpur Engineering College was inaugurated by Minister of Local Govt. Rural Development & Co-Operatives Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain Finally started college in the academic 2013-2014. Faridpur Engineering College of Electrical and Electronic Engineering ,civil engineering and computer and Communication engineering, these 3 technologies in the course of teaching but also, primarily in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering and civil engineering department was started and in the first year, 60 in the two sections of the 120 people 2014-15. Periodically admitted 120 students were admitted to the sessions. 2015-16 sessions are being admitted. Faridpur Engineering College is one of the new and modern engineering colleges in Bangladesh.
