This is a modern memorial to honor Saint Paul the Apostle.
On June 29 a doxology takes place here in memory of St. Paul.
It is believed that from this tribune (The Bema) he preached Christiniaty by the time he visited Beroea (or Berea) which is the now modern city of Veroia (or Veria).
This is a very important sight as far as the history of christianism.
