Former alert pad for Plattsburg Air Force Base, where B-47, B-52, FB-111A, KC-97 and KC-135 aircraft were kept in alert status for rapid deployment during the Cold War.

Today the Northern portion of the former Alert Pad has been reused to house the terminal building for Plattsburgh International Airport.
