Shaftesbury House is the headquarters of Mablethorpe Home Children's Holiday Charity.
The charity began in 1898 as the Leicester Poor Boys and Girls Summer Camp and Institute to give disadvantaged children free holidays at the Lincolnshire seaside resort of Mablethorpe. Over 100 years later it is still providing the same service.
