Scheduled for Demolition in late 2023, Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium (originally "District of Columbia Stadium" (D.C. Stadium), commonly "RFK Stadium" or "RFK") is a multi-purpose stadium, in Washington, D.C.
The stadium was opened in October 1961, as the District of Columbia Stadium. It is owned and operated by the Washington Convention and Sports Authority (WCSA).
RFK's last tenant, D.C. United, left the site in 2018 in favor of the newly built Audi Field, leaving the stadium vacated until its scheduled demolition in 2023.
