  • Stayed at Maggie's in November for the month. Made very welcome by Simon, they had just finished the new apartments really comfy. We are trying to get back this jan 07 does anyone have a contact or email for maggie's. Regards Kev
  • My husband and I and several of our friends have stayed at Maggies twice now and visited the restaurant many times. The service is always excellent and Simon and Lucas and their families are brilliant. This info is a bit too late for Kev & Karen (who were at Maggies last November with us) but if you wish to contact Simon his mobile number is 9822122174 their email address is: maggiesgoa_94@hotmail.com.
  • Stopped at Maggies Jan 2007 excellent value, Simon and Lucas great hosts. Pool in sun all day. Rooms have A/C very well set out good size. 100 metres from beach. Already booked for Jan 2008. I have told my friends how good the place is and 3 more couples from Derby are stopping there in Jan 2008.

  • Hi Everyone Just returned home after another month spent at Maggies. Same as usual family atmosphere, excellent standard of cleanliness, further enhancements from last year and nothing too much trouble. Booked again for next November. Will add pictures in the near future. Simon, Lucas and the team keep up the good work.
  • maggies what a horrible place simon is just a money grabber
  • could not find anything good to say about maggies .there r so many other better guest houses.if simon offers to get u a taxi from the airport say no as he charges 750rup but crams 5 people into the taxi.compared to other restaurants the food is rubbish.the rooms r expensive for what they r when u look at kingstork which is only slightly more expensive it is far better than maggies.av u noticed even when the lights r on everywhere else simon has them off there r enough power cuts without him trying 2 save on electric.i could not recommend this place when there better places close by.
  • BEN N GILL ,THE ABOVE MENTIONED NAMES ARE GUESTS WHO HAVE NOT STAYED AT MAGGIES. LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN PAID CASH TO DISTORT OUR IMAGE N NAME. OR THEY WANT TO PROMOTE OTHER RESTAURANTS N HOTELS.SUCH PEOPLE ARE HIPOCRITES. WE G ET ONE IN HUNDRED....FOR YOUR INFORMATION ...WE DO NOT GIVE TAXI SERVICES,ONLY IF REQUESTED.AND THAT TOO,.WE HIRE THE TAXI FOR THE GUESTS.LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE JEALOUS ABOUT MY PLACE...NOW THAT IT IS GETTING WORLD FAMOUS THRU TRAVEL C OMPANIES N PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN AT MAGGIES FOR END NUMBER OF TIMES.
  • hi, can anyone tell us do the rooms have a refrigerator?
  • To aly n loz. All rooms have a fridge. Do not be put off by the previous unkind comments from Ben and Gill. I have stayed at Maggies several times and intend to return this November for 1 month. Simon and Lucas (brothers) are the most obliging hosts. All I can say is that if you wish to stay at Maggies BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. Dorothy Gaskell
  • Me my wife and my 2 boys stayed at maggies a week ago we had a great time rooms were clean and tidy, Simon and his staff were friendly and helpful, my compliments to all the staff the food was excellant. hope to come again see you soon. jotinder hira
  • Hi every one just to let people know that Maggies now has an official web site and can be visited @ www.maggiesgoa.com. Well done Simon very impressive. Hope you had a great season see you all soon. Sue (Manchester)
  • Me and my family have been going to Goa for the past 10 years. Ben and Gill are absolutely right in what they say. I am not being paid to agree with them, in fact i do not know them.
  • I ditto the comments from Ben, Gill and frequent visitor to Goa. We stayed there and found Simon to be a fake. He makes himself out to be 'God fearing' man but is really a selfish money grabber. As was said before, there are so many other places to choose from and you would be as well to use one of them. P.S. We know none of the other people, have not been paid cash, and do not wish to promote other restaurant or hotels. I thought this site was for all to sound their opinions, not a one sided ego booster for Simon.
  • Me and My Husband had been to goa in Feb. We stayed at simon's hotel Maggies for a week and found it a very good n safe place to live. Rooms are equiped with all the facilities. My best wishes to all. Hope to see you soon!!!

  • we have been in Goa 13 times since 1999 and the last 4 times we stayed at Maggies and have visited the restaurant since 1999. The rooms are very good and the beds are not too hard. The owners Simon and Lukas and the stuff are excellent. We will return in Nov. for 1 month.
