Ebeye is the island with the largest population in the Kwajalein atoll, with approximately 12,000 native residents living on 80 acres (320,000 m²) of land. Ebeye is one of the most densely populated places in the world.

Ebeye is not part of the Reagan Test Site, it is a Marshallese island-city with hotels, restaurants and an active commercial port. Robert Barclay's critically acclaimed novel "Melal" is set on the islands of Ebeye and Kwajalein.

  • this is where the population of Kwajalein was moved after the US air base was established there.(like enough wasnt done to these people by the atomic testing.) 10000 people live on this, one tenth of a square mile of treeles desease ridden dirt that is Ebeye, 3 miles away on a ferry from the 10 times larger Kwajalein, that has a population of only 3000.(us personel) Disgraceful.
  • Thats where they live since they work on Kwaj - otherwise, they'd be fishing for a living!
