Spangdahlem Air Base is a United States Air Force base located near the small German town of Spangdahlem, near the city of Trier.
Spangdahlem is home of the 52nd Fighter Wing and its subordinate commands, which include the A-10 Thunderbolt II-equipped 81st Fighter Squadron and F-16C Fighting Falcon-equipped 480th Fighter Squadron. The base is also home to the 606th Air Control Squadron and its TPS-75 Radar installations.
