One of the few remaining parts of Cologne dated back the Middle Ages not far from the beautiful Romanesque St. Martin Church. There are many interesting and colourful old town houses date back to between the 14th and 17th Centuries. Cologne was bombed during The Second World War, fortunately those charming Gothic buildings was not affected. The modern day fish market is a charming blend of inns and pubs.
