Built as Masonic Temple Lodge No. 21 in 1923, Oakland County later purchased the building when additional offices were needed. The county traded this building for the Pontiac-Oakland Airport with the City of Pontiac in the 1960s after the County built its new facilities on Telegraph Road. It is currently the Lafayette Grand Banquet Hall, new owners having purchased the building in 1997 and subsequently restoring it.
