Dr. Rowshan Ali Khan was one of the famous men who contributed a lot specially in the development of educational infrastructures of local area. He was a reputed physician and political person and he was one of the leaders of Muktijuddho (liberation). Under his leadership all freedom fighters of that locality surrendered their arms and ammunition to the government. His contribution during liberation is still documented in the Muktijuddho Museum in Dhaka.
