Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) Skid Strip

This is not the Space shuttle landing strip.

This particular runway is primarily used for operations of the Shuttle Training Aircraft (STA). It was also used by NASA for the transportation of the S-IVB upper stage of the Saturn IB and Saturn V rocket using the famous "Super Guppy" cargo plane.
