Located in the North part of Kannur district - Kerala;
surrounding green hills,rubber trees valleys,
karikkottakary is a part of Ayyankunnu,village the surrounding villages are Aralam, Payam,and Ulikkal. This village (small town) is the main market place for the farmer communities in the surrounding regions. The main economy is still depending on the old and pure form of business and culture, agriculture. These natives depend on earth, water, sun, wind etc for living nothing unusual they are farmers. They produce spicy Pepper, tasty Cashew nut, Coconut, Rubber.paddy.etc.. the reselt of hard working and unitty of the villages around 53 years.. karikkottakary became a beautifull village. |
