  The first appointed and the last appointed mayor, then called "Presidente" during the Hispanic Regime, of the Municipality of Looc that covers the entire Southern Tablas, which is now comprised of five towns - is a Gabuna. The first elected Mayor of the town of Looc during the American Era is a Gabuna.
