US Route 65 South / US Route 69 South (Indianola, Iowa)

US Route 65 is a north-south route from southern Minnesota to Louisiana. It begins at Interstate 35 exit 12 in Albert Lea, MN, then enters Iowa just 15 miles later. US 65 continues south through Des Moines, IA; Springfield, MO; Little Rock, AR; and into far eastern Louisiana. It ends at US 425 in Clayton, LA.

US Route 69 is a north-south route starting in far southern Minnesota. It begins at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and County Road 46. Very soon after, US 69 enters Iowa and goes through Des Moines, then through northwestern Missouri and Kansas City, KS. It continues south in Kansas and Oklahoma to Texas, where it turns slightly southeast. It goes through Tyler and ends at Texas State Highway 87 in Port Arthur (it ends at the same point US 96 and US 287 end).
