Boulevard Victor Hugo (Nice)
This way was called by deliberation of the City Council to pay tribute to the writer and poet Victor Hugo (1802-1885) which occupies a major place in French literary life and elected representative deputy of the IIe Republic in 1848, he exiled itself after the coup d'état of Napoleon III Victor Hugo brings in in France after the defeat of the French army in Sedan in September, 1870 and receives on behalf of the Parisians a triumphant welcome. He participates actively in the defense of besieged Paris.
